Reduce junk email (spam)

Many of the people who visit this page will know me through the various business networking associations to which we both belong. A topic that often arises is junk email (spam) and what can be done about it. TechScribe is an affiliate of Firetrust, and this page outlines their two simple and cost-effective solutions.
Junk email — MailWasher Pro
I have been using MailWasher for many years. It has reduced my workload and has helped to keep the TechScribe systems running smoothly.
These are just some of the things that you can do with MailWasher:
- View email on the server before downloading it (or not)
- Delete email without downloading (useful if someone sends you a large download)
- Bounce spam back to the sender (so that your address appears to be non-existent)
- Automatically delete email from blacklisted addresses

Email viruses — Benign
If you use HTML email, then you leave yourself open to various forms of email attack. In particular, web bugs, malicious HTML, scripts, viruses and worms may all be delivered. Your privacy may be compromised by web bugs.
