Environmental policy
Our operations have an effect on the local, regional and global environment. Therefore, we are committed to continuous improvements in environmental performance and the prevention of pollution.
As a minimum, we comply with all environmental regulations, laws, and codes of practice.
TechScribe has signed up to Computing's Green Computing Charter (www.computing.co.uk/greencomputing).
Specifically, we take these measurable actions:
- Use electricity that is generated from 100% renewable energy sources (strictly, our supplier, Good Energy, www.good-energy.co.uk, purchases this and supplies it to the national grid).
- Use 100% recycled paper for all our internal printing.
- Use 80% recycled paper for our marketing brochures.
- Send all paper waste for recycling.
- Travel on public transport for company business.
- Send old PCs and printers to be reconditioned and recycled.
