Environmental policy
Our operations have an effect on the environment. Therefore, we are committed to continuous improvements in our environmental performance and in the prevention of pollution.
As a minimum, we obey all environmental regulations, laws, and codes of practice.
TechScribe has subscribed to Computing's Green Computing Charter (www.computing.co.uk/greencomputing).
We take these measurable actions:
- Use electricity that is generated from 100% renewable energy sources (strictly, our supplier, Good Energy, www.goodenergy.co.uk, buys this and supplies it to the national grid).
- Use 100% recycled paper for all our internal printing.
- Use 80% recycled paper for our marketing brochures.
- Send all paper waste for recycling.
- Travel on public transport for company business.
- Send old computers and old printers to be reconditioned and recycled.
